Program Description:

The Division of Music Education at the UM School of Music prepares discipline-based, reflective music teachers for a pluralistic society while supporting graduate students in on-going research that furthers the field. Offering a close-knit community and substantial resources of the University of Maryland and as well as the surrounding D.C./Baltimore metropolitan area, the Division of Music Education graduates approximately a dozen students each year.
