The Department of Cell Biology and Molecular Genetics at the University of Maryland College Park offers a world-class inter-institutional graduate program in Virology funded in part by a 5 year NIH Training Grant. Virologists from the Maryland campus and Center for Biosystems Research have joined with scientists from the nearby National Institutes of Health, National Cancer Institute, and the USDA Beltsville Agricultural Research Center to offer state-of-the-art training that emphasizes the true breadth of Virology.
