Program Description:
The purpose of the Department of Human Development/Institute for Child Study and of its graduate programs is to contribute to basic knowledge, to the synthesis of knowledge, and to the integration of knowledge in research, practice, and policy in the multidisciplinary field of human development. The program includes specializations in educational psychology, as well as developmental science. Faculty in the Department have varied interests and areas of expertise in fields concerned with all aspects of human development.
