Ph.D. - Developmental Psychology
The faculty in the Developmental specialty area has recently established a collaborative program in Developmental Science with faculty in the Department of Human Development in the College of Education. The collaborative program is designed to enable students to become: (a) psychologists who are trained in general psychology as a behavioral science, and (b) competent in conducting research on a wide variety of developmental problems. At all levels our curriculum provides an integration of general psychology, research participation, and specific instruction in several different levels of analysis. Candidates should note that there is a strong expectation throughout the program for students to be active in research.
