Program Description:
The mission of the Graduate Programs in Education at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor is to develop educational practitioners and service professionals who exemplify leadership in value-centered education, and to develop leaders for the successful operation of public and private schools in Texas, within a Christian framework, in the areas of school administration, educational psychology, reading, special education, English, biology, chemistry, exercise science, and business management.
Professional certification programs are available for Educational Diagnostician, Educational Administration (Principal), Educational Administration (Superintendent), Reading Specialist, Master Reading Teacher, and Special Education.

UMHB is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Schools and the Texas Education Agency.
International Student Requirements:
Report of Medical History/Evaluation form; Official transcripts from all schools; GRE/GMAT; Completed Statement of Understanding; TOEFL score of at least 80 or IELTS score of at least 5.5.
