Program Description:

The Masters Program provides students with (a) exposure to the broad field of oceanography, marine biology, or marine policy (b) specialized coursework in an area of the student's particular interest, and (c) a research experience culminating in a Masters thesis. The Ph.D. Program is designed to both educate the student in oceanography or marine biology and to provide an intensive research experience that prepares the student for self-generated research in her/his later career. Our program also emphasizes developing skills in written and oral scientific presentation.
