Program Description:

Graduate teaching and research are primary commitments of the Department of Biochemistry.Our students receive formal training in Cellular and Molecular Biochemistry, Protein Chemistry,Enzymology, Physical Biochemistry, and in a number of special topic electives designed to focuson current problems in biochemistry. Class sizes are generally small (6-12 students) which allowfor enhanced personal faculty-student interactions.
