Program Description:

The special feature of the Department of Physiology and Biophysics at the University of Louisville is that it has broad educative and research perspectives integrating basic systems physiology with an understanding of both cell / molecular techniques and clinical science. The Department is considered one of the major Microcirculatory research groups in the world. Faculty commitments include leadership roles in many Physiological Societies and Editorial Boards (American Physiological Society, American Heart Association, Microcirculatory Society, American Lung Association, etc.).
