Program Description:
This 100% online degree program will prepare you for civil engineering careers in which you would work with architects and other design professionals to solve current and future civil engineering issues. The program emphasizes the planning, design, construction, operations and maintenance of air, rail and highway transportation systems. Courses include traffic engineering, environmental analysis of transportation systems, geometric highway design, global positioning systems (GPS) theory and application, geographic information systems (GIS) applications in transportation, transportation planning and urban development, fundamentals of intelligent transportation systems, and pavement design.
