Program Description:

The Instructional Technology Leadership program, designed for those who aspire to be technology coordinators at the school, district, regional, or state levels, is nationally recognized by the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE). Candidates may follow the either of two possible tracks:
* One is for for preparing technology leaders in PK-12 at the school, district, regional, or state levels, or for those who simply want a good background in technology as they teach in PK-12.
* The other track is for anyone working in a non-PK-12 technology based training/instructional design setting.

In September of 2001, the Board of Elementary and Secondary Education approved certification in Educational Educational Technology Leadership. The ULM masters program prepares candidates for this certification. In addition, graduates of the IT Leadership program also earn Teacher Leader designation.
