Program Description:
Agricultural Education is a part of a program called Agricultural Education, Communications, and Leadership. As an agricultural education major you will be a part of the agricultural community in the College of Agriculture at the University of Kentucky. The Master's degree program in vocational education is a 30-semester hour program. Up to nine semester hours of graduate work may be transferred from another institution or from unclassified credit upon recommendation of advisor. Agricultural Education students are eligible for many University of Kentucky and College of Agriculture scholarships as well as specific scholarships for students in Agricultural Education, such as the Dr. Harold R. Binkley Scholarship. Additionally, Agricultural Education offers one or more assistantships each year with a stipend and a tuition waiver (in-state tuition is waived for Kentucky residents and out-of-state tuition is waved for other students.
