Program Description:
The William Allen White School of Journalism and Mass Communications offers a professional graduate program that leads to a terminal Master of Science degree in journalism. The program provides breadth of education and offers the opportunity for professional specialization. Major areas of study are newspaper and magazine journalism, radio-television, and advertising. Within these areas, there is a wide range of course work, including newspaper reporting and editing, editorial and critical writing, broadcast news, communications law, history of journalism, media management, advertising campaigns, business communications, media sales, and high school publications.
