Program Description:

Certificate-prepared nurse practitioners can earn a master's degree with an emphasis in either family or adult/geriatrics by taking to the "information superhighway." In this innovative on-line program, qualified nurse practitioners submit a clinical portfolio, complete challenge exams for up to six credit hours and complete 21 credit hours via the Internet. Full-time students may complete the program in one year without ever stepping foot in the School of Nursing at the KU Medical Center campus in Kansas City.
