Program Description:

The Department of Pharmacy Practice in the School of Pharmacy offers a Master of Science program in conjunction with a Pharmacy Practice Residency. The program combines academic studies, residency in hospital pharmacy, and research. It gives participants the didactic and practical experiences required to prepare them for the practice of pharmacy in variousorganized health care settings. The program prepares pharmacists for their role as drug therapy managers from both a clinicalpractice standpoint and a pharmacy administration standpoint. Graduates of the program possess the competencies required to accept leadership roles in the profession of pharmacy.
