The Department of Geography is committed to graduate education, research, and innovative teaching. The graduate program integrates course work with teaching and research experience. Students who receive teaching assistantships are responsible for handling laboratory sections for introductory-level courses. Those awarded research assistantships are involved in collaborative research with faculty.
