Program Description:

The Department of Counseling Psychology is one of six departments in the School of Education. Degrees are offered at the master's and doctoral levels. Course work for each degree consists of both didactic and practicum components to provide graduates with the skills necessary to help individuals meet their needs as they progress toward educational, vocational, personal, and social goals. Graduates of the degree programs work in schools, colleges and universities, community service agencies, state and federal agencies, private practice, and many other settings. They are involved in providing both direct and indirect services to individuals and groups.
