Program Description:

One of six departments in the College of Public Health, the goal of the PPHG is to provide an excellent education in the theory and application of statistical genetics methods used in the health sciences. This program will prepare students to excel in a variety of occupations, including academic positions in colleges of medicine and public health, pharmaceutical and other health-related industries, and positions in local, state, and federal governmental health agencies.
