Program Description:

Health promotion is the integration of health education and related organizational, political, and economic interventions designed to facilitate behavioral and environmental changes that are conducive to health. The curriculum is multidisciplinary, providing students with the opportunity to develop skills in exercise prescription and assessment, dietary assessment and planning, stress management, smoking cessation, substance abuse counseling, and facility-based management.
