Program Description:

Our programs and specializations are designed to develop future professionals in the fields of special education instruction, research, and education. The programs are offered in K-8 and 5-12 Instructional Strategist I: Mild/Moderate, and K-12 Instructional Strategist II: BD/LD areas. All teacher licensure/certification programs are approved by the Iowa Department of Education.

* Our graduate programs (M.A.) provide in-depth theoretical and field work experiences in special education.
* Our Ph.D. program builds on the theoretical and practical knowledge of our candidates, while preparing them with the necessary research skills to attain positions in research and leadership in higher level educational institutions.
