Program Description:

The program trains students at the interdisciplinary forefront between physics, chemistry, biology and computational science to enable them to apply the conceptual approaches of the physical sciences to the solution of biological problems. The curriculum and research choices are broadly based, to serve students with previous training in the physical and biological sciences, but as far as engineering and computer science. Our faculty includes many prominent researchers, including the 2003 Nobel Prize winner in physiology and medicine, Paul Lauterbur.
