Program Description:
The Cognitive Division represents interests in the area of cognitive psychology; the study of memory, learning, language, thought, and higher-level mental processes. The division is diverse, but there is special strength in the areas of psycholinguistics, concepts, problem-solving and learning. These are but general descriptions, however, and the interests of individual faculty and students often cut across these categories.
