Program Description:

The UIC College of Medicine, an integral component of the University's Health Sciences campus, offers a select number of students the opportunity to work toward a combined MD/PhD degree. The primary objective of the program is to train students for careers in academic medicine and research. Students admitted to this highly-competitive program pursue original research projects in the laboratories of the University's graduate faculty and participate in the medical school curriculum.
