Program Description:

The Department of Chemistry at the University of Houston offers a stimulating graduate program to students pursuing a Master of Science or Doctor of Philosophy degree. In a recent survey of chemistry department productivity throughout the world, the Institute for Scientific Information ranked UH thirteenth in total number of papers published between 1984-90 and 25th in the number of citations for these papers.
