Program Description:
The Department of Chemical Engineering has developed research strengths in the areas of biochemical engineering, chemical reaction engineering, catalysis, cellular bioengineering, colloid science, electrochemical systems, interfacial phenomena, rheology, fluid flow and phase behavior in porous media, polymer and macromolecular solutions, processing of electronic materials, two-phase flow, solid-fluid separation, air pollution modeling, reliability theory, thermochemical energy storage, and petroleum engineering.
