Program Information
Degree Offered
M.S.-Hospitality Management/MBA
Program Description:
If you are considering a career in hospitality where you think an MBA might just give you an added advantage, the Joint Master's Program offered by the Conrad N. Hilton College of Hotel and Restaurant Management and the C.T. Bauer College of Business Administration at the University of Houston may be just what you need to fulfill your career aspirations.
Through this joint program, you can concurrently pursue a Master of Science in Hospitality Management and a Master of Business Administration in less time than it would take to earn the degrees independently. This joint program requires a minimum of 84 semester hours, and full-time students can complete both degrees in less than three years.
For all joint degree programs, it is necessary to apply separately and meet admissions requirements for both programs. Once you have been admitted to the first graduate program, you must gain admission to the second graduate program within one calendar year. The MBA program will allow 12 hours of MBA electives to be filled by courses from the MS program. You will receive two diplomas, but you must file for graduation with both degrees in the same semester.
