Program Description:

Recent research and advancements related to the role of exercise on health and fitness have led to the development of the interdisciplinary field of exercise science. Current departmental faculty members have been academically trained in, and are actively publishing in the areas of exercise physiology, measurement and research in exercise science, and motor behavior. These areas provide the focus of the MS in Exercise Science program. Program graduates will be well-prepared to work as researchers in exercise science, exercise physiology, measurement and research methods, and/or motor behavior, and to enroll in doctoral programs in these areas.
