Program Description:

This degree is intended for those who already hold a University of Hertfordshire Diploma in Management Studies (DMS) or Postgraduate Diploma in Management, or for graduates in business studies, economics or social science who wish to obtain a management qualification. The course gives you the advanced level knowledge, skills and understanding you will need in a management post. It will help you to expand your intellectual ability and develop an analytical approach, so that you can examine management problems critically from the perspectives of different schools of thought, and evaluate opposing arguments. You are also encouraged to consider management theory and practice and their implications in the broader social, political and environmental context. All students carry out independent research through the production of a dissertation or a management project.
