Program Description:

The Faculty has a long-standing reputation for research in computing and computational mathematics, recently endorsed by the continued award of a rating of 4 in the recent Research Assessment Exercise. The Faculty also contributed staff to four other areas gaining ratings of 4 in physics, and 3 in mechanical, aeronautical and manufacturing engineering, education and music. We see the provision of high quality research training as an essential component of our research activity.
