Program Description:
The joint MBA and Master of Engineering affords the graduate student to be enrolled in both the Barney School of Business and the College of Engineering, Technology and Architecture/CETA. All applicants must meet the admissions requirements of each school. The MBA degree will not be awarded prior to the awarding of the Master's of Engineering.
Business and government demand persons trained in the sophisticated skills and knowledge necessary for effective decision making in a complex, interdependent and dynamic global community. The concepts and skills acquired by Barney students apply to all types of organizations, including large corporations, family-owned businesses, and not-for-profit organizations.
Business courses are taught in an interactive manner with cases and projects to give students hands-on learning. This teaching is enhanced through educational partnerships with regional business and governmental partners. Many of the faculty have business experience and regularly work with area businesses to solve problems.

Eligibility Requirements:
Applicants mus be admitted into the engineering program in the College of Engineering, Technology, and Architecture and the MBA program in the Barney School of Business.
To be considered for admission applicants must have an appropriate baccalaureate degree in engineering from an engineering degree program accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission (EAC) of the Accrediting Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET); and have a minimum 3.0 GPA as an undergraduate. Students with a bachelor’s degree
in physical sciences, mathematics, and other fields may also apply but will have to take additional courses at the undergraduate level to remove deficiencies in the engineering major they plan to pursue. GMAT test scores are required of all applicants.

International transcripts must be evaluated by WES to assess U.S. equivalency, for more information visit www.wes.org. International applicants need to submit their TOEFL official scores. Min score: 550 paper-based; 79-80 iBT. A certified Guarantor’s Statement of financial support is also required.
