Program Description:

The RESEARCH and TEACHING PROGRAMS of the Department of Genetics are closely linked, providing graduate students with strong scientific backgrounds and excellent laboratory research skills. Graduates from the Department have enjoyed a greater than 95% placement rate, and 91% of the trainees supported by the Department of Genetics Training Grant over the past twenty years are still actively involved in scientific careers.
