Program Description:

The department offers programs leading to the degree of Master of Engineering, Master of Science, and Doctor ofPhilosophy in environmental engineering sciences. Major concentrations include air pollution control, drinking water treatment systems, environmental biology, microbiology and toxicology, groundwater protection and remediation, industrial hygiene, hazardous waste, solid waste, radiological health and health physics, systems ecology and energy analysis, water chemistry, water resources management, water pollution control, and wetlands ecology. A joint program with the law school is also available.
