Program Description:

The general program of graduate study is designed for those planning careers as researchers, teacher-scholars, and practitioners in psychology. In addition to specialized training in one or more areas, a core program of theories,methods, and research in general psychology ensures that each student will be well prepared in the basic areas ofpsychology. The primary goal of the department is educating scientists who will help advance psychology as ascience through teaching, research, and professional practice.
