Program Description:

We believe that the creation, understanding and dissemination of new knowledge are fundamentalresponsibilities of all scholars. The Ph.D. Program in Finance prepares students to engage in productivescholarly research and teaching in the broad area of financial economics. Graduates of this program typicallyare placed with major universities in the United States, although some students choose to work in researchpositions at non-academic institutions. Eventual placement, of course, depends mainly on the student'sinterests and abilities.
