The University of Florida's online graduate certificate program in Forensic Toxicology is comprised of five three-credit courses and has been designed to meet the needs of today's working professionals. The program, which is provided by the Department of Physiological Sciences in the College of Veterinary Medicine focuses on general and advanced principles of toxicology, forensic toxicology and Drug Biotransformation & Molecular Mechanisms of Toxicity providing a strong working background in analytical techniques, pharmacokinetics, drug elimination and toxicology and is novel in featuring modules in forensic pharmacology, doping control, postmortem toxicology, expert testimony, and QA/QC procedures.
