Program Description:

The Biomedical Engineering Program is physically located adjacent to UF's College of Medicine (COM) and Shands Hospital, one of the top health care facilities in the U.S. COM faculty also serve as clinicians at Shands, which is noted for its outstanding work in neuroscience, organ transplantation, wound research, burn care, and children's health care. COM faculty welcome engineering students as graduate non-medical interns in the clinical and laboratory settings.
