Program Description:
Archaeology and heritage are vital and wide-ranging areas of public interest and concern. Embracing nature, landscape, monuments, artefacts, activities and people, the subjects are represented at various scales from the local to the global. Governments and organisations identify these cultural resources and the historic environment as crucial contributors to our economy, quality of life and to the formation of individual, community and national identities.
The University of Exeter’s innovative interdisciplinary postgraduate programme is designed to meet the needs of professionals and practitioners working in heritage education and cultural resources management, as well as those seeking master's level academic study within the fields of heritage and archaeology.
It is delivered on a flexible basis via e-learning, using materials and resources made available to students over the internet, fully supported by our highly experienced E-Learning and Communications Team. Distance learning students are not required to attend any classes in Exeter so the programme can be studied anywhere in the world. The course is available as an MA and can also be studied as a Postgraduate Certificate or Diploma. You can study either full-time or part-time.
