Degree Offered
M.A.- Experimental Economics
Format: Campus
Program Description:
This course constitutes a new, but rapidly expanding, area of economic enquiry. One role for experimentation is to expose competing economic theories to test; another is to explore the behaviour of agents in economic settings where the predictions of theory are uncertain. The specialist components were created by Professor Robert Sugden and Dr Chris Starmer, who have established UEA as a leading centre for experimental economics. Students will be introduced to experimental methods and applications, and willdesign and conduct their own experiments.
