Program Description:
Directed and taught by a team of highly-respected teachers, researchers and consultants who work with organisations in many developing countries on agricultural and environmental issues, this MSc is aimed at both active and future professionals within the areas of agricultural research and extension, and natural resource management and conservation. There is special emphasis on the challenges posed by the need to develop and manage sustainable agricultural systems - and resource management strategies - in developing countries. You will study resource management of soils and water, alongside quantitative research methods, resource development and conservation, and will have the opportunity to join students from other programmes to follow other areas of interests in, for example, rural development planning, or gender analysis in development.
