M.A.- Advanced Social Work Practice and Planning
Program Description:
This modular Masters degree enables social work professionals to reflect on the knowledge, values and theoretical approaches that underpin their work. It is based on 120 credits at Masters level, made up from modules of 10, 20, 30, 40 or 60 credits. Modules are taken on a part-time basis over a maximum of six years. Applicants can determine the pace of the programme, selecting from a range of options to create a Masters degree that is coherent and meets individual needs and interests. Modules include Advanced Professional Practice in Community Care or with Children and Families (60 credits); Interprofessional Practice Teaching (40 credits); International Perspectives on Child Welfare (30 credits); and a number of other 20- and 10-credit options.
