Program Description:
You may customize your course of study, depending upon your goal to work internationally, within the United States, or both. The College of Law offers over forty courses in these advanced degree programs, divided equally between international and domestic issues. There are no required courses, so you may customize your degree by selecting any approved courses. Some of our courses are as follows: Renewable Energy Policy and Markets, Sustainable Development, Global Warming, Renewable Energy and Project Development, Environmental Law, Natural Resources Law, International Human Rights, International Law, Economics of Natural Resources, Energy Law, Mining Law, Oil and Gas Law, International Petroleum Law, International Mining Law, Comparative Environmental Law, European Union Environmental Law, and Sustainable Development of Natural Resources. You can also choose to do an externship and obtain practical experience in the field of your choice. Students in the program have pursued externships at the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency), NREL (National Renewable Energy Laboratory), Governor's Energy Office, and a variety of private firms and NGO's.
