Program Description:
The Physical Therapy Department at University of Delaware has one of the highest ranked DPT programs in the country. We have faculty who are world renowned researchers who contribute to improving the field of physical therapy and provide state of the art education for our students.
The University of Delaware's outstanding DPT program, has been accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) since 1976 - most recently in 2001.
In addition to serving as educational settings for our DPT student, PhD students, Fellows and practicing clinicians we have 5 Physical Therapy Clinics, that provide outstanding rehabilitation services to the community.
Eligibility Requirements:
* Three letters of recommendation (2 from a licensed Physical Therapist; 1 from an upper level Professor)
* Completion of required courses with a grade of C (2.0 minumum) or better
* Completion of the PTCAS application and UD PT Supplemental Application form.
* If requested, an interview with the admissions committee
In addition, the Graduate Record Examination (verbal and quantitative) must be taken and scores forwarded to the University of Delaware.
