Program Description:
The aim of the program is to produce leaders in Public Horticulture with a broad understanding of public gardens, their role and function.
This two year program:
emphasizes the administration, leadership and management of public gardens and their diverse operations,
offers students opportunities to gain practical experience by working with the Director and members of the Horticulture, Maintenance and Services Departments of Longwood Gardens, and
is appropriate for individuals interested in careers in arboreta, botanic gardens, horticultural societies, park systems, civic garden centers, and related institutions.
