Program Description:
The University of Dayton offers a Master’s of Financial Mathematics (M.F.M.) degree program to support the growing market in financial services. This multidisciplinary program trains graduates for opportunities in banking, insurance and financial trading industries.
The two-year program integrates statistics, computation and modeling with training in the professional domain. Combining six core courses with a number of electives prepares students for the team research capstone requirement bringing teams of students together to work on projecting development, modifying and applying sophisticated financial instruments. Additional course work is provided through workshops on topics in business.
Certificate programs are available for those students who do not want to commit to the full M.F.M. program. Programs are available in computational finance, statistical financial and financial risk management.
Eligibility Requirements:
The Graduate Record Examination (GRE) is recommended but not required.
