Intervention Specialist (LIC/M.S.E.)
Program Description:
Candidates in the intervention specialist program develop knowledge enhancing their advocacy skills and promoting a collaborative approach to education. Students have the option of mild/moderate or moderate/intensive licensure in the intervention specialist concentration.
Initially applicants can only apply to the licensure program in teacher education with a concentration in intervention specialist. Candidates may choose to earn the master's degree after completing the requirements for licensure by completing the core requirements for the master's degree.
Eligibility Requirements:
Results from the GRE or MAT are required for applicants with an undergraduate grade point average below 2.75 on a 4.0 scale. Applicants may wish to submit copies of their Praxis results and current licensures, if applicable.
