Program Description:
The school counseling degree provides preparation for individuals who desire to be school counselors. Upon completion of the master's degree, the Ohio Department of Education requires the Praxis specialty examination in school counseling. The degree program consists of 30 semester hours of course work aligned with the CACREP eight common core areas and 18 semester hours our course work in school counseling.
Eligibility Requirements:
Results from the GRE or MAT are required for applicants with an undergraduate grade point average below 2.75 on a 4.0 scale. Applicants may wish to submit copies of their Praxis results and current licensures in support of their application.
