Program Description:
The Department of Health and Sport Science offers a program leading to the Master of Science in Education with a specialization in exercise science. It is designed to prepare individuals for careers in exercise science, corporate fitness and wellness, as well as for doctoral study in the exercise sciences. It has a scientific basis which includes a mandatory research project that must be submitted to a peer-reviewed journal for publication prior to graduation. Graduates will be prepared for the American College of Sports Medicine or National Strength and Conditioning Association certification exams.
Eligibility Requirements:
Results from the GRE or MAT are required for applicants with an undergraduate grade point average below 2.75 on a 4.0 scale.
