Degree Offered

Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Nonprofit Organizations Management

Format: Campus

Program Description:

The benefit of GSPA's nonprofit concentration is that it provides excellent training not only for students who work or seek to work in nonprofit organizations but also for governmental employees who must interact with nonprofits as a significant part of their job. More and more governmental responsibilities are being contracted out to nonprofit organizations. Nonprofits, in turn, are becoming an increasingly important part of how government gets the job done. Coursework focuses on how to administer contracts and grants to nonprofit agencies, manage nonprofits, build partnerships and raise funds. In this option, you'll take coursework in Nonprofit Management, Nonprofits and Public Policy, and Governance in Nonprofit Organizations.
