Program Description:

The University of Connecticut School of Medicine was established in 1961 and is part of the University of Connecticut system of higher learning. One of the schoolÆs main beliefs is that physicians are scientists, and the educational structure is designed to reflect that principle. The curriculum emphasizes problem-based learning, chronic care, ambulatory experiences, disease prevention, and rehabilitation, among other medical aspects of human health, and always within the context of scientifically-based knowledge and conclusion.
