Program Information
Degree Offered
Graduate Certificate in Environmental Policy, Management and Law
Program Description:
Students already employed or wishing to work for an agency that deals with environmental concerns find this program particularly attractive. Many employers -- such as engineering firms and manufacturing plants -- face substantial environmental regulations. The Environmental Policy, Management and Law concentration can help you gain an understanding of natural resource management and environmental health law and policy for non-lawyers. Natural Resource Management Policy, Administration and Law, Environmental Health Policy, Regulation and Law and Administrative Law are required for this option. If you choose it, you will also be asked to select two electives from a pre-approved list of over 20 graduate offerings. To earn an EPMC certificate, an additional course, Governance and Institutions, is also required.
