Program Description:

The objective of the MPA program is to prepare students for public service careers. The program emphasizes the theory and practice of public management in a democratic society. There are 2 tracks in the MPA program --pre-career and in-career. Pre-career students enroll on a full-time basis and receive experiential learning through an internship and participation in a practicum. In-career students, who must have had substantial relevant administrative experience, usually enroll on a part-time basis and are not subject to the internship and practicumrequirements.
